WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY FIRST RIDE?
You’ll want to arrive about 15 minutes before class time, hydrated and ready to sweat! You are in control of how much resistance you ride with and will get stronger with every class you take. All of our classes are beginner accessible and we are a judgement-free zone.
HOW DO I GET MY FIRST RIDE FREE?
It’s easy, you just sign up for an account! The first class is automatically added to your account and you can sign up for any class on the schedule. While the class is added for all customers, the first class free is only offered to local (Huntsville, Madison, and surrounding counties) residents and students (undergraduate and graduate). Make sure to bring a valid photo ID or other proof of residency if you do not use a .edu email address.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
You can park in The Avenue surface lot which can be accessed from Jefferson St. or Spragins St. There is also a parking garage accessible from the surface lot. The entire ground floor of the garage is reserved for retail parking and an elevator can take you up one floor to access our store front. There are also 7 2-hour parking spots along the street on Jefferson Street and many more on surrounding streets.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear comfortable clothes designed for exercise. You will moving off and on the bike seat, so skip baggy bottoms. Fitted biking shorts or leggings are perfect.
DO I NEED SPECIAL SHOES?
To provide a safer and more effective workout, we use specialized cycling shoes that clip in to the bike at Zoom. Shoes are free with your first class, and $2 ($2.75 account charge) for rental thereafter. For those bringing your own shoes, our bikes are compatible with SPD and Look Delta cleats. Finally, we also offer shoes for sale, and if we don’t have your size in stock, shoe rental is free until they arrive.
